In passing this door, that’s probably all you see; a door. But if you stop and gaze, you see the wall that surrounds the door. You see the pinks fading into blues, greens and yellows. The blue crackles with the pink to create, ever so slightly, a violet that you see hiding in the plaster and you realize how this symphony of color could have ever been overlooked. Like so many things in life, beauty can sometimes be masked but it’s there just the same. So although we may not have been looking, it’s precisely what we found in Evora.
