At some point in our lives, we will hesitate. Whether that be hesitating with work, love, or eating the last scoop of gelato. This bird represents that hesitation; should I jump; should I fly? Sometimes hesitation can be good; it allows us to ponder, enjoy a moment that might otherwise be fleeting. As I sat on the dock, I did not hesitate; but rather moved swiftly to capture the image before the bird made his decision and that fleeting moment of wild hesitation was gone.
