Among the many emotions that the Vatican may evoke, one in particular is the sheer gratitude for my sight as I rushed to capture this breathtaking view from a distance. The sky is filled with cirrus clouds soaking in bright pinks of the setting sun and the warm glow of light that illuminates the great duomo of the basilica. I couldn’t help but think how lucky I was to be able to capture this moment in time. This is but one of the many emotions the Vatican evokes for me and I can only hope this same emotion is shared by all who see.
