Probably too often we look at an old house such as this and think how sad and forlorn its empty walls and windows seem. How the decayed roof no longer provides shelter from the elements. Personally, I’ve been seeking out the positives that life has to offer and with that comes a new outlook on many things; one being this house. Now, I see a peaceful retreat for the sheep and a shady lawn to lay. I see a design of sun rays that splash through the roof onto the walls, giving them life. I see the story of a time past where a family had once lived and loved. When all we see is what is gone; we miss what is still there.
